Cough Syrup herb Mixture

This is the herb kit to make Dr. James' Herbal Cough Syrup.

It contains:

• Horehound1 ounce

• Wild Cherry Bark1 ounce

• Anise seed.1 ounce

• Elecampane Root.1/2 ounce

• Lobelia Herb.1/4 ounce

 To make cough syrup:

Bring to a boil:

3 cups purified water (must not have chlorine) 

Add herb mixture:

Lower heat. Simmer for 15 minutes and strain out herbs. This should be about one pint to this add : 

1 1/3 cups honey (1lb)

1 cups of Raw Unfiltered Vinegar (We Prefer Apple Cider Vinegar)

 

This cough syrup can be used for all ages and is good for asthma, bronchitis, colds, etc. Keeps well, not necessary to refrigerate but helps with the flavor.
