Banana Bread

Banana bread is a comfort food around our house. We like too cook it up in the form of cake, muffins, and bread. Whatever form it takes, this recipe tastes great! We hope you like it.



1 3/4 cups wheat flour

1/4 tbs soda

2 tbs baking powder

1/2 tbs salt

1/2 cup Chopped pecans


2/3 cup Honey

2 eggs

1 cup mashed bananas (2 to 3)

1/3 cup butter or coconut oil


Preheat oven to 350º. In a bowl mix together the dry ingredients. In a different bowl mash the bananas, really well, then add the rest of the wet ingredients. Add the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Grease and flour a bread pan, then pour the batter into it. Bake for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
