We love to share cooking bloopers because they help us all to see that no one is perfect, and besides "Laughter is the best Medicine".
Here is a story our dad loves to tell:
“When I was a kid my mom would make toast in the toaster and she would burn it to a crisp every time. When she took it out of the toaster she would scrape off the black and feed it to us. If anyone murmured she would declare “it’s hand scraped toast” like it was a treat or something. I thought that was how everybody made toast. I was 12 years old before I knew that you could actually cook toast the right color every time” -M.J.
